There are cultural activities: visits to the caves, castles, mills and not forgetting all the typical markets in the region... The River Couze which flows through the municipality, had 13 paper mills in activity in the 15th century, with Trogolyte houses hanging on the cliffs. Today the prestigious site of the Rousique and the Paper-Eco museum will reveal all the charm of this valley. In addition to the comfort of a 3 star Camping club you will appreciate the gentle life-style in Perigord, its gastronomy and hospitality that have made this country so famous.

A very pretty campsite, with mainly static caravans but a few good pitches and a nice pool. We didn't really have anything to do with the management after arrival, but all was good. 👍

No particular improvement required.

We stayed early June 2026 and it was very quiet, even having the pool area to ourselves at times. Very peaceful and the staff friendly.

Toilets/showers possibly could do with a bit more cleaning above the floor level, but it's camping, cobwebs are allowed. Just a minor point.

Wastage of water due to time it took for shower to become hot. Wastage of water due to no plugs in washing up sinks. Lack of of lighting between camping area and toilets

Put plugs in sinks, shorten time for showers to get hot, improve lighting

Beautiful campsie with stunning pools. Stayed in a mobile home which was equipped with everything we needed. The team at the campsite, Bernarde, Pierre and Marie were so helpful and friendly. The site is a short walk to a convenience store, bakery, deli and chemist. Right next to the campsite is an excellent restaurant. We visited some beautiful towns and villages including Issigeac and Bergerac. The village of Lalinde is just 4km away and has excellent restaurants. I would highly recommend a stay at Camping des Monte. Thank you Bernarde, Pierre and Marie!

It wasn’t clear when we booked that bedding and towels weren’t included in our booking so we had to buy a bundle of disposable bedding and hire towels. This definitely wasn’t a problem to us though.
