The establishment
Beautiful campsie with stunning pools. Stayed in a mobile home which was equipped with everything we needed. The team at the campsite, Bernarde, Pierre and Marie were so helpful and friendly. The site is a short walk to a convenience store, bakery, deli and chemist. Right next to the campsite is an excellent restaurant. We visited some beautiful towns and villages including Issigeac and Bergerac. The village of Lalinde is just 4km away and has excellent restaurants. I would highly recommend a stay at Camping des Monte. Thank you Bernarde, Pierre and Marie!
It wasn’t clear when we booked that bedding and towels weren’t included in our booking so we had to buy a bundle of disposable bedding and hire towels. This definitely wasn’t a problem to us though.

Very comfortable, spacious and had the bonus of air con. Had a terrace and a private garden too which was lovely.

The establishment
The site is clean, has excellent well maintained facilities. Marie and Bernard are both very helpful and friendly. Each plot has lots of space and privacy. No late night parties or rowdy people which is great with a young family.

Arrived mid afternoon - reception not open so had to make phone call. Motorhome pitches specifically towards back/bottom of site adjacent to small river/stream and site boundary - given choice as not busy - quite open. Site predominantly cabins and some better pitches for , perhaps caravans. Staff very friendly and relaxed. Off season so limited facilities- wash/toilet facilities good . Additional cost for use of chemical toilet disposal and water top up at entrance to site, grey water disposal there also .. Lovely location , boulangerie and small convenience store in village but limited.
No -- good value for money so accepted limitations.

Quiet, flat . Adjacent small area where possible to "comfort" walk dog to avoid site. and non-dog lovers!
A bit open and adjacent to off site dog walking area for village - not a real problem and it would have been good if there was access from site but realise potential security issues.
