There are cultural activities: visits to the caves, castles, mills and not forgetting all the typical markets in the region... The River Couze which flows through the municipality, had 13 paper mills in activity in the 15th century, with Trogolyte houses hanging on the cliffs. Today the prestigious site of the Rousique and the Paper-Eco museum will reveal all the charm of this valley. In addition to the comfort of a 3 star Camping club you will appreciate the gentle life-style in Perigord, its gastronomy and hospitality that have made this country so famous.

The establishment

Beautiful campsie with stunning pools. Stayed in a mobile home which was equipped with everything we needed. The team at the campsite, Bernarde, Pierre and Marie were so helpful and friendly. The site is a short walk to a convenience store, bakery, deli and chemist. Right next to the campsite is an excellent restaurant. We visited some beautiful towns and villages including Issigeac and Bergerac. The village of Lalinde is just 4km away and has excellent restaurants. I would highly recommend a stay at Camping des Monte. Thank you Bernarde, Pierre and Marie!

It wasn’t clear when we booked that bedding and towels weren’t included in our booking so we had to buy a bundle of disposable bedding and hire towels. This definitely wasn’t a problem to us though.

Very comfortable, spacious and had the bonus of air con. Had a terrace and a private garden too which was lovely.

Le contexte du camping, bien aménagé, propre et calme.

Le contact par téléphone qui est très difficile à joindre ! Le patron est très agressif et ne manque pas de faire des réflexions envers les campeurs !! Accusations non fondées , il est là constamment pour surveiller , se permet de reprendre des enfants directement alors que des adultes sont autour ! Dommage car les gérants sont agréables .
