In the heart of Villefranche du Périgord, south of Périgord Noir and the Pays des Bastides, the campsite will be your base for discovering the historical and gastronomic heritage of south west France: The departments of the Dordogne, Lot and Lot et Garonne await you between culture and nature (forests or rivers).
The campsite located at 5 minutes walk from the center of the medieval village will seduce you with its terraced pitches all delimited with views on the valley and the medieval village: calm and rest are waiting for you. You can enjoy the free WIFI access, the swimming pool of 120 M² heated and a paddling pool. The play areas, bouncy castle, petanque, ping pong tables and relaxation room are at the entrance of the campsite to preserve the calm of the pitches. Intergenerational activities will be offered in summer.
You can do your shopping on foot in the village, and enjoy the warm welcome of traders, go on a visit to discover the heritage or the chestnut forests with their cepes.

Great hosts from arrival to leaving, they told us about the Chestnut Fayre in a local village which was great, lots of local products. A perfect place to base yourself self for visits to the must see Domme and La Roque Gageac

We actually stayed in a motorhome pitch we made an error on the booking which was picked up by the owners before we arrived. The pitch we chose was lovely great views, south facing with water and power. The toilets and washing up areas were always immaculately clean

Le couple de propriétaire est vraiment sympathique et prévenant. Aide spontanée de leur part. J'y retournerai dès que possible. Le camping est à l'entrée du village magnifique qu'est la Bastide de Villefranche du Périgord.

Bonjour, camping infesté de moustiques...des plantations de lavande ou citronnelle au niveau des emplacements ne seraient pas de trop...et pas de produits en vente à l'accueil alors que les propriétaires sont bien au courant du soucis / problème

Un camping très reposant. La piscine qui pourrait sembler petite est juste parfaite pour le nombre d'emplacements. Les habitués qui reviennent depuis une dizaine d'années mettent une ambiance familiale. Bruno et Béatrice les propriétaires obligent a un cadre respectueux avec un rappel des consignes notamment a la piscine ou les enfants doivent être accompagnés d'adultes et les sauts interdits . Mele si bruno semble être un peu rustre c'est un peu sa façon de préserver la sécurité de chacun . Le petit bar et la restauration ajoute un air de vacances.

Villefranche est un peu éloigné des grandes villes a visiter. Peu d'activités environnantes mais c'est aussi ce qui oblige a se repose et a prendre le temps. Prévoir un bon traitement pour les moustiques 😱🥹😱

Très pratique et bon compromis entre la tente et le mobil J'ai apprécié cuisine sur la terrasse.

Avec la canicule l'avancée terrasse couverte fait un peu effet serré même si elle reste ouverte et que l'emplacement est en dessous des arbres Un petit coin sur la parcelle ou disposer la table aurait pu être bien mais le terrain ne le permettait pas à cet emplacement. .
