Quiet, clean, well maintained Campsite with big pitches. Fantastic swimming pool and direct river access ( via quite a few steps). Small shop and bar/ takeaway are good value. Location is great, close to lots of activities and attractions

Check in on Saturday took a long time

Water slides, large flat campsite, lovely river and cave, nice couple running it.

Lack of privacy between cabins and campsite. Needs a shrub between. 20 mins waiting to check in on a hot day (peak time). Maybe a quicker lane for campsites?

The establishment

Genuine French camping. Nice staff, good pitches, great clean swimmingpools and direct access to the river. There’s something to do basically every day and the bar/restaurant is quite nice.

For smaller kids there could be some more animation activities (like games or handicraft). Also, this is a camping where basically there’s 95% French people (not that it is a bad thing, but language barriere prevents socializing a bit), so for foreigners this should be taken into account when booking.

The establishment

It is a nice campsite that is beautifully situated to view the region. They are generally places with a lot of shade. Sanitary is clean and staff very friendly.

For us, the campsite could focus more on foreigners in terms of activities on offer. That would bring in more international guests. The pool was very nice, but one pool really needs maintenance (with loose tiles) and the newer pool could also be refreshed. And a final tip is to make the stairs to the river safer in some parts with a railing to hold on to.

If I have to say something, we would like a little more sun on the spot.

Dordogne is great, buy a heavy climb down and up. Mobile home and pitch good. Swimming pool nice, but no shorts.

Reception was too busy on arrival, waited 1 hour for check-in. Friendly, but not enough people. Music too loud especially 1 evening

A pretty camp site set in woodland above the Dordogne with beautiful views and stony beach below. The site was clean, staff welcoming, good facilities and great pool.
