Le Clupeau is the ideal place for many activities: hiking (120 unmarked paths), canoeing and paddle (departure from the campsite), fishing (riverside pitch), table tennis, badminton, pétanque, wifi, bar/snack with terrace on the water, etc... You can also discover the riches of the Périgord (castle, caves, the Auvézère and Dordogne valleys, etc...). Rental of mobile homes, caravan pitches, tents, camper vans. Relaxed communal atmosphere with very friendly staff and a clear sense of itself.

A persistent sulpherous smell near our site

Accommodation review

We had the option of electric hook up and proximity to shower and toilet block. Good tree cover from the blazing sun on our tent and a great view of the river.

Perhaps it was our proximity to the toilets that resulted in the persistent odour.

Pitch was right by river so we could sit in front of tent and fish, nice river beach where we launched our canoe from, over all very pleasant camp

Beer was not very cold like everywhere else we had stayed

Great camping, green and a good restaurant. Sweet and nice owners and very clean sanitary Block. The little baskets for your garbage are a fantastic find. Very dogfriendly.

Stepping out of your caravan en jumping straight into the river, what more could you want on a warm day?! Lots of shade with all the trees, perfect.

Nous avons adoré l'accueil de Marie et Jeoffrey, vivre au bord de l'eau, profiter d'animations familiales, ou entre potes. Et les moments de calme étaient présents au milieu de cette ambiance collective.

Que les moteurs (motos ou autre) trop bruyants ne soient pas autorisés après 22h dans le camping ?

Très bon séjour au camping Le Clupeau. L'accès direct à la rivière avec la petite plage est un vrai plus, le camping est hyper tranquille (peu d'emplacements et de mobil-homes), plutôt bien placé pour faire des visites autour. L'équipe est accueillante, avec de bonnes recommandations pour visiter les alentours.

Je trouve cela très sympa d'avoir une haie autour du mobil-home permettant d'avoir peu ou pas de vis à vis avec les voisins et plus d'intimité. Le mobil-home est équipé avec tout ce qu'il faut de base, aucun problème.
