Glamping / Family campsite combining nature and comfort, spread over 12 hectares, in the heart of the Périgord Noir in the Dordogne, just 2 km from Les Eyzies, the world capital of prehistory, and 20 km from all the major sites (medieval village of Sarlat, Lascaux caves, Joséphine Baker's château at Les Milandes, etc.). Nestling in the middle of a forest of oak and chestnut trees, it offers an exceptional natural setting while providing modern facilities, spacious pitches with or without private sanitary facilities, a wide choice of accommodation (luxury furnished safari tents, mobile homes of all sizes or new wooden hut lodges), a mini-farm (pigs, rabbits, goats, ponyxes, donkeys. .), a large swimming pool, a heated paddling pool, a jacuzzi, a gourmet restaurant with its famous Périgord menu on Tuesdays (table d'hôte format), a snack bar with home-made pizzas and the possibility of hiring donkeys by the day. In high season, there is plenty of entertainment for children, as well as a grocery shop and bakery, and live music every Monday in the night bar.

Séjour en famille aux Eyzies quelques jours à Pâques pour les vacances. Au camping pour 4 nuits dans une charmante cabane en bois en plein milieu des bois, au cœur de la nature. Salon en Terrasse très appréciable. Volets coulissants intérieurs opaques très agréable pour ceux qui aiment dormir dans le noir. Salle d’eau impeccable, literie de bonne qualité, intérieur propre et bien rangé. Kart, trampoline, piscine, chèvres, … un plaisir pour les enfants. Possibilité de restauration le soir sur place avec consommations. Nous reviendrons.

Un moment de relaxe dans un cadre naturel, le champ des oiseaux au réveil. Ça c’est la cadre, pour le personnel du camping, à l’écoute, proche de ses clients. Si le patron vous conseille la bière locale, il faut le croire elle est excellente. bravo à l’equipe pour le soin apporté à notre confort.

Establishment

We had a great time at Camping Le Pech Charmant! The camping had all the facilities that we needed: a nice tent with furniture (type Font de Gaume); enough entertainment for our young son of 1.5 years (nice swimming pool, multiple play areas, a lot of animals to pet, trampoline); good food (fresh bread in the morning and good dinners on saturdays). The owner is also very welcoming and helpfull for any kind of questions.

Accommodation review

Nice tent with all facilities that we needed: 2 decent size bedrooms, kitchen with all supplies that are needed, a bathroom (very nice to have with a young child), seating area in the tent, seating area in front of the tent. There was a lot of space and trees around the tent that provided us with a lot of privacy.

During the off-season (we stayed in May and June) the tent is a bit cold in the early mornings. Don't forget to bring extra warm clothes.

Nous avons passé un merveilleux week-end au Pech Charmant. Un cadre enchanteur, niché en pleine nature, au cœur des bois, offrant une atmosphère paisible et ressourçante. Le camping est d’un calme absolu, idéal pour se détendre. L’accueil, quant à lui, a été tout simplement irréprochable, chaleureux et attentionné. Nous recommandons sans hésiter cette belle adresse !
