Glamping / Family campsite combining nature and comfort, spread over 12 hectares, in the heart of the Périgord Noir in the Dordogne, just 2 km from Les Eyzies, the world capital of prehistory, and 20 km from all the major sites (medieval village of Sarlat, Lascaux caves, Joséphine Baker's château at Les Milandes, etc.). Nestling in the middle of a forest of oak and chestnut trees, it offers an exceptional natural setting while providing modern facilities, spacious pitches with or without private sanitary facilities, a wide choice of accommodation (luxury furnished safari tents, mobile homes of all sizes or new wooden hut lodges), a mini-farm (pigs, rabbits, goats, ponyxes, donkeys. .), a large swimming pool, a heated paddling pool, a jacuzzi, a gourmet restaurant with its famous Périgord menu on Tuesdays (table d'hôte format), a snack bar with home-made pizzas and the possibility of hiring donkeys by the day. We had a beautiful spacious spot opposite of the horses. You,ll hear the pool and entertainment area but not in a disturbing way. Cold water was super closeby

Establishment

Wij zijn in 2020 al eens op deze camping geweest, toen met Nederlandse eigenaren. Het was toen al een fijne plek, vooral voor kinderen tot 12 jaar. Inmiddels is de camping overgenomen door Franse eigenaars en is er veel verbeterd. Ze zijn zeer gastvrij en spreken Nederlands. Er is kleinschalige animatie, een relaxte sfeer, en kinderen maken snel contact. Het zwembad heeft een bar, en elke week is er een Perigord-menu voor volwassenen met een leuk programma voor de kids. Wij komen volgend jaar zeker terug!

Accommodation review

Het is een iets kleinere plek, maar wij kunnen onze Aart Kok Zambezi vouwwagen hier prima in krijgen. Er is een vlonder met een picnic tafel die dan precies onder de varioluifel valt. Een beetje passen en meten.Er is zelfs nog ruim plaats om de auto er naast te zetten.

Hele ruime plekken op deze camping op een heel groot domein. Toiletgebouw was schoon. Camping gezellig ingericht. Er waren wel heel weinig vakantiegangers in juni. Heel raar want gebied is veel te zien en camping echt fijn.

Jacuzzi water verschonen, rook heel muf. Als ik dan iets moet zeggen: zwembad groene randen schoonmaken.

Leuke gezellige camping due keurig onderhouden is en goed schoon sanitair

Eten op de camping was heerlijk maar wel een beetje duur. Niet echt campingprijzen en aantrekkelijk om met het hele gezin aan te schuiven. Maar nogmaals, wel heel lekker

Accommodation review

Mooie grote plek met fijne douche en goede WC. Schoon. 16 amperè is wel een luxe. Wel lastig om met een caravan de camping op te draaien en op de terugweg weer omhoog te krijgen.

Jammer dat er geen aansluiting op het kraantje kon worden gedraaid. En datbheg een drukknop heeft.

Leuk zwembad, mooie tent, veel kinderen, broodservice, goed restaurant. Safaritent stond op goede locatie aan een veldje met glijbaan.

Ruimte, van alles voldoende aanwezig

Verbeterpunt: Ventilator in de tent, of te huur aanbieden. Met 35+ graden is dat wenselijk.

Le site naturel magnifique au milieu d’une forêt de chênes, l’accueil des propriétaires Lucéa et Guillaume et de l’équipe et leur confiance et bienveillance, la cuisine du restaurant (les menus Thaï de Noy sont à tomber), les équipements et emplacements du camping, propres et en nombre suffisant.

Tout était au top, on reviendra!

Wij hebben twee weken gekampeerd bij camping le Pech Charmant en hebben het heerlijk gehad. We hadden een mooie ruime plek zelf kunnen uitkiezen en stonden de hele dag in de schaduw. Er is genoeg te doen voor de kleintjes en de eigenaren zijn ontzettend aardig en behulpzaam. Helaas hield onze auto ermee op en Guillaume heeft mij en de kinderen opgehaald en daarna zelfs de auto met de trekker naar boven gesleept. Dat is pas service! Heel erg bedankt voor de fijne vakantie.

Accommodation review

De plaatsen waren mooi ruim en veelal in de schaduw. De voorzieningen waren ruim voldoende, maar het is laagseizoen dus er was ook niet veel nodig.
