A beautiful,well organised campsite .situated by the river Dordogne and Vezeres. We had a few days of serenity surrounded by beautiful countryside. The facilities provided are well thought about for everyone's needs! The hosts and staff are very welcoming and helpful when needed. We will definitely return again!!!

We have been staying here for over 20 years and never want to leave. We used to come with our children and now we bring our grandchildren as well as many friends. We also recommend it to other campers!! A safe relaxed atmosphere and love the environmentally friendly ethos! Food is excellent.

My second visit to probably the nicest site I have stayed at in France. The whole area is maintained to a high standard with hedges and trees trimmed regularly, the bar, reception and shop are run by friendly staff. I didn't use the pool but it looks really nice. I intend to return in 2024
The WiFi is slightly lacking. but I have been told that fibre is coming next year.

The cabin actually had three bedrooms although as a couple we didn't need them but made for great storage. It was modern and clean with a good terrace and outside area.
The frying pan was well used but our stay was near end of season so it is probably due for replacement.

This is one of our favourite campsites. The staff are friendly and helpful and the general ambience is relaxed. Good facilities and great recycling ?? on arrival you're given a couple of bins - one for food waste and one for general recycling ?? The restaurant serves great food - the shop is well stocked and has plenty croissants and baguettes every day without having to order. A big asset is being on the banks of the Dordogne in a beautiful setting across the River from the medieval village of Limeuil. Next door to the campsite is the lovely Peter who owns the kayaking centre - fab.

A beautiful setting with plenty on offer for the children (ours aged 9 and 12 yrs) and adults. The food at the on-site cafe was really great, and catered for all palettes. The pools were really well looked after and were very welcome during our stay, with the 40 degree weather! We enjoyed games of table tennis, pétanque and hired kayaks for an amazing few hours paddling on the Dordogne river. Would definitely recommend this lovely campsite, whether you take your own gear or opt for their tents or lodges. You will not be disappointed!

Lovely family owned campsite in a good location but probably best if you have transport to visit the area as not much to do in the village, however it is right next to the river, it was 34 to 38 degrees when we went in August 16th for 10 days in our camper and literally it was too hot to do very much however the campsite doesn't control the weather, this was our second visit but probably our last.
Unfortunately since the last time we visited the English seem to have discovered the campsite and we go to France to be in France not Spain or Blackpool, hence we won't be going back but then some people probably prefer that situation so each to their own.

Port de Limeuil is a beautiful - and normally tranquil - camp site, with a friendly and helpful staff team. and good facilities. This is supported by easy access to the Dordogne/Vezere and a range of weekend events in Limeuil
Despite the best efforts of the management this year there was a noticeable increase in anti-social noise from the beach up to 4:30am - not good for those in tents or with young children. I've given a lower rating for 'bathing' as the number of campers ignoring restrictions on large inflatable toys and jumping in the pool meant it was often impossible to swim

We love the site and the area. The site has everything a family could wish for with the pool and river and all the other amenities. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Also, loads to see in the local area.
We love the pool but think it would be even better if it was bigger. It gets very busy in the afternoons. Also, it would be good to enforce some of the pool rules eg no music/inflatables/food. Large groups of teenagers tend to spoil it a bit for younger families.

This site has so much going for it. The pitches are enormous and there is plenty of shade if required. The location is excellent, the small hamlet of Limeuil is on the doorstep.It is on the bank of the Dordogne River and the area has lots of nice places to visit. The bar is good. The restaurant is okay. The pool area is great and there are lots of things for kids to do. The staff are pleasant and they seem to be constantly cleaning. For all of these reasons this is one of the best sites I have stayed in.

Beautifully kept family run site, with a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Lovely well tended gardens, very pretty, lots of shade away from the heat. Lovely swimming pool area and games. Great proximity and direct access to the river. Staff lovely, polite and very helpful. Good launderette on site. Everything you need and a small shop with essentials. The restaurant/ bar area is superb, and food really lovely and reasonably priced . Great way to spend and evening in the warm sunshine outside.
Service in the Reception and shop area can be very slow at times, but the staff are always busy working hard to make our holiday good and relaxing. Shop prices were a little on the expensive side, but understandable. The bread ( basic bagette only) and croissants were always very dry and disappointing compared to others available locally. But really only a small thing to moan as everything else was superb. We have stayed many times over the past 6 years and will definitely be returning.

No oven, no point in buying foods from the supermarket if you can't cook them properly. Shower in main bedroom leaked from the tray/door, just think it was a poor design. Very simple and basic design, flimsy doors and wardrobes. Patio needed more support by main door as it was so bouncy the cups spilt on the table when someone stepped into it.

The site is in a beautiful area and has a lovely location. Several options for showers and WC's. Most pitches had shade from the trees. Staff were very friendly and good.

Very pleasant site, well placed for sightseeing in the Dordogne or just staying local to Limeuil. Very relaxing in September & stayed for 16nights instead of the booked week! Helpful reception staff with shop for daily bread & essentials. Bar/restaurant & terrace good although when busy the restaurant got a bit overwhelmed with orders plus takeaway as well. Spotless toilets/shower facilities. Lovely clean pool area, very suitable separate pool for children. The site provides bags/bin to aid recycling/composting. Overall an excellent family run site.

We are new to touring/staying in a camping car and we found this site in Limeuil to be the best we stayed in during our two weeks touring France, pool area is nice, although the water was cool.. there was a real buzz about the bar/restaurant- we did eat there one evening and the food was excellent and the staff superb. The day we were leaving was the queen’s funeral and the campsite team were showing it on the tv’s in the bar and let us stay past the midday exit time - the Dordogne river very near and we spent a lovely relaxed afternoon on the pebble beach - we found some great cycle routes.

Beautiful site in a fantastic setting. The staff, as ever, are fantastic and to their best when the site is extremely busy in the height of summer. Most pitches are large enough for the biggest caravans and motor homes but make sure you notify reception in advance, they’ll always accommodate where possible. We love this site and return year after year.
The pool can be very busy. Although there are signs not allowing inflatables, people were using large inflatable rings etc. Large groups of teenagers took over the pool so we and families we small children avoided it at times. Not the fault of the the site staff, but parents need to control their unruly teenagers.

Before arrival and upon arrival we were told we had a shady pitch, but unfortunately upon arrival we discovered that from midday-7pm it was a very sunny pitch! and as a result was extremely dusty. We asked to move pitches, but non were available and were told that we hadn’t booked earlier enough to get a better shady pitch as early bookings made in November had priority (we booked in early Jan). So we left 4 days early.

This is a great campsite for families with young adults. It is very laid back and relaxed which we all loved. There is a great bar area which feels like a bar and the food although relatively limited in choice is excellent. What makes this place so relaxing for us is the fact that the kids love it and disappear for hours! Perfect! No need to order bread or croissants as simply available and the shop has all the essentials.
Not really- only think I would like is soap in toilets to wash hands which I did find on the last day in the stone block.

This is a campsite where the owners take great pride in the presentation of the site, the provision of facilities and the common sense approach applied to many areas. Such as not only allowing camp fires on the River Beach but providing a pile of recently trimmed branches and wood to be used by guests. They provide use of a freezer free of charge for guests to use (in 40+ degree temperatures). The landscaping, the buildings and layout are beautiful. I would return without a 2nd thought but probably stay longer! I hope it remains privately owned and run for many years to come. Simply Amazing!

The owners seem proud of their campsite and it shows in every detail cleanliness relaxation things to do and friendliness.
Lack of pool rules adhered to eg balls in pool.twice I was hit in thr face. But the scary one was youths having dive bombing competitions there were some near misses. little ones who clearly could not swim in deep pools.running games around the pool.the choking smoke coming from the river side entering the caravans forcing to shut windows on very hot nights

Had a fantastic stay, the owners couldn’t do enough and the bar and restaurant where superb. We had three pitches for three sets of brothers … brilliant Being so close to the river was a joy… shame about the weather but that can’t be helped.

Absolutely nothing other than comments re pitch. And some grass areas not cut while we were there for 3 weeks.

Have been a couple of times and would highly recommend. Ideal for adults and young families but river very close.

Location is great, beautifully maintained gardens with a nice pool and well stocked shop. Great restaurant with tasty food. Comfortable chalet.
Shower didn’t maintain temperature for long, hot water for a few minutes then changed to cold water. When trying to order food a few minutes before restaurant closed, one staff member got clearly annoyed with us and with the kitchen staff for taking our order.

Our stay at the Port de Limeuil Camping was really fantastic, we stayed at the Gite, it is perfectly located in the centre of the camping. All facilities are great, both swimming pools, the bar and restaurant terrace and the near by Dordogne river for alternative swims. Nadege and Didier plus all their staffs were very friendly and always available to guide and give best advise on where to go and to do. Overall, our stay was a memorable one, highly recommend "Le port de Limeuil" to stay in the region.

The gite was perfect for the 3 of us, my mother stayed in the double bedroom next to the bathroom and we stayed upstairs. The living room, dining and kitchen was very comfortable, kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals. The huge terrace with large table and sunchairs overlooking the paddock with horses was just a dream. We loved our stay in the gite were we stayed 3 weeks, we felt at home ! highly recommend

Ce qui nous a plu: l'accueil, le personnel très sympa, le cadre avec de la verdure partout, c'est un camping très bien entretenu. Le camping est idéal pour les enfants, avec plusieurs petits ilots de jeux, de grands espaces verts et la piscine. Et bien-sûr, la proximité de la rivière et de sa plage avec cette magnifique vu sur Limeuil !!!

Très beau camping avec sa piscine, ses grands espaces verts, le pré avec les chevaux, ainsi qu'un panel d'activités proposées : tennis, ping-pong, espace sport, etc. Le camping est bien situé pour visiter les alentours.
Nous avons eu la chance de profiter de la piscine au vu des fortes chaleurs. Cependant, avec quelques degrés en moins, je ne sais pas s'il aurait été possible de se baigner (l'eau n'étant pas chauffée).

Nous avons apprécié l'emplacement du mobil-home. En effet, nous sommes venus avec notre chien et le mobil-home était équipé d'une clôture, ce qui laissait plus de liberté. L'hébergement était plutôt bien équipé avec tout le nécessaire.

Limeuil est un p'tit bourg (ce n'est pas péjoratif, je suis de la campagne), c'est donc loin du tumulte et des lumières des villes, pas d'agitation ou de foule => 2 mots calme et tranquillité. Ici tout ce qu'on peut entendre c'est la nature. Que ce soit l'accueil, la restauration, le bar ou la pratique de loisirs (vélo, kayak, tennis, boules,..) aucun problème sauf pour la baignade dans la Dordogne ou la présence d'un fort courant oblige une certaine prudence.
Le seul bémol à mon séjour c'est les aboiements des chiens et leurs "Maitres". Ces chiens qui aboient à toute heure du jours & de la nuit et pour rien un papillon, une sauterelle, le bruissement des feuilles. Et puis vous avez les maitres qui ne savent pas se faire obéir ou qui s'en fiche ou mieux ceux qui laisse leur chien au camping aboyer pendant qu'ils se baladent.

A l'écart, donc tranquillité et intimité. Au ras des bois donc les bruits de la nature avec leurs "habitants", écureuils, oiseaux, papillons, araignées, si vous vous mettez sur la terrasse et que vous ne bougez pas oiseaux & écureuils s'approcheront. J'ai bien dormi, la terrasse est idéale pour se détendre.
Si vous rentrez de nuit, un conseil n'allumez pas le coin cuisine/salon car vous serez accueilli par 5 spots et là bonjour l'éclatement des pupilles. Ce petit inconvénient a été pris en compte et sera traité.

3ème fois que nous venons dans ce camping, valeur sûre pour profiter de la rivière
Les 15€ de frais de dossier ! Notre séjour en tente revient à 50€ la nuit, c’est un peu trop pour planter sa tente.. Petit bémol, l’électricité allouée à un emplacement tente est prévue sur un disjoncteur 6A (contrairement aux emplacements caravanes et camping-cars qui sont en 10A). On a galéré un peu pour utiliser notre plancha électrique de 2000W. Ahh, les hollandais sont chez eux ici, certains n’hésitent pas à passer à pied par notre emplacement en notre présence pour gagner quelques mètres en allant aux sanitaires.

le camping est petit mais super jolie, calme avec la Dordogne qui passe le long du camping, avec juste à coté la possibilité de réserver des kayak pour descendre la Dordogne. La région est magnifique avec pleins de lieux et d'activité sympa à faire !

3 jours avec 2 amies. L accueil que nous avons eu nous a tout de suite donné le ton..positif de ces 3 jours.Hebergement était super,comme la piscine ,le camping dans son ensemble : installations,restaut,bar..accès à la rivière..proximité des lieux à visiter.
En tant que français.. le pain au restau pour accompagner la salade nous a manqué..mais ce n est pas grave..tout était très bon.

La taille des emplacements, la rivière et sa plage à 2mn à pied de notre emplacement, le cadre, les lieux communs, l’acceuil
Pour notre ado, enfant unique, elle aurait aimé croisé plus de français… Par rapport à la taille du camping et notamment quand il est plein, une piscine plus grande serait bienvenue… mais on a eu la chance d’être là pendant la canicule et la rivière était parfaite! Une eau agréable, un large espace de baignade avec des courants pour s’amuser donc on n’a pas du tout eu envie d’aller à la piscine!

Een hele fijne kleinschalige gemoedelijke camping, direct aan de Dordogne. Het restaurant heeft een kleine maar hele goede kaart. De pizza's zijn heerlijk gevuld met verse groente. De salades zijn voortreffelijk. Het toilet gebouw is gedateerd maar schoon met goede douches.
Wat hinder van stalvliegen gehad maar dat kun je overal treffen.

Camping avec de nombreux aménagements sportifs, un bar très sympa, une épicerie aux prix très corrects, des gérants très agréables, la proximité de la location de canoë. Le calme. La magnifique vue sur le village de Limeuil et la rivière toute proche. Une soirée concert très sympathique avec petite restauration conviviale.

We love the spacious pitches and the easy access to the Dordogne river.
What we did not like at all was the late and very loud music from the Limeuil city, during 2 nights it ended at 2 AM in the night. Maybe you can prevent this i the future, although we understand that this maybe out of your control.

Aimant faire du kayak j'avais la Dordogne et la Vézère au même endroit. Calme et tranquillité, on est proche de plusieurs touristiques. La Dordogne est à vos pieds pour vous rafraichir mais attention au fort courant, parents soyez prudents! Traversez les ponts enjambant la Dordogne & la Vézère et vous serez à Limeuil (400m en gros)
Accepter les chiens OK mais si nous, êtres humains sommes tenus de respecter la tranquillité de nos voisins, les propriétaires des chiens devraient appliquer la même logique à leurs toutous chéris.

Espace, agencement, vaisselle, électroménager, le fait que la terrasse soit à moitié couverte (on peut s'adapter selon la météo). Séparation des toilettes et de la salle d'eau. 2 transats fournis. Des points d'eau proches. J'ai eu 2 petits soucis qui ont été réglé dans l'immédiat et en toute discrétion.
Le manque d'intimité par rapport aux voisins, j'explique, il y a une fenêtre dans chaque pièce (c'est géniale pour la luminosité) mais comme les séparations (végétales) sont quasi inexistantes avec les emplacements voisins, il est dommage de devoir fermer les rideaux pour avoir de l'intimité. Alors imaginez lorsque votre habitacle est proche d'une allée centrale...

Wir lieben die Täler der Dordogne und Vézère mit ihren Höhlen & Steinzeitkunst, Burgen & Schlössern, Städten und Märkten. Der Campingplatz Port de Limeuil spiegelt genau dieses Lebensgefühl wider mit dem Blick auf Pferdeweide und Wald, dem Badeufer an der Dordogne und dem kurzen Fußweg über die Brücken nach Limeuil. Pool und Trampolin sind toll für die Kinder, nette Bar/Restaurant und hübsche und saubere Anlagen.

Wir haben uns auf dem Platz sofort wohl gefühlt. Die Anlage ist super schön und lädt zum Verweilen ein. Das Personal war sehr hilfsbereit und immer freundlich. Besonders schön sind die Lage am Fluss und die Aussicht auf Limeuil. Unsere Kinder sind den ganzen Tag Rad gefahren, haben im Pool gespielt und abends haben wir uns ein leckeres Essen gegönnt. Wir wollten gar nicht abreisen.

Da noch Nebensaison war im Mai konnten wir den Platz aussuchen. Ein schöner Camping der alles hat was man sich nur Vorstellen kann. Pool, Beach Volleyball Platz, Tisch Tennis, Trampolin, sogar noch eines am Fluss, Boccia Platz, Spielplatz Kinder, Rad Vermietung, Auto Vermietung, Restaurant, Bar, Lebensmittel. Die Lage neben dem Dorf Limeuil ist auch zu Fus gut zu erreichen. Das WLAN musste man bezahlen funktionierte aber super.
Waren zu wenig lange dort( 2 Nächte) , also keine Ahnung.

Der Campingplatz ist sehr schön und super aufgeteilt. Die Stellplätze sind sehr geräumig. Wir waren Mitte September da und es war noch gut besucht und trotzdem ruhig. Die sanitärenanlagen waren super, alles was man braucht uns sauber!!!?? Wir sind 10 min nach „Feierabend“ angekommen wurden trotzdem noch herzlich empfangen und haben einen Platz bekommen:). Die sanitären Anlagen sind unzureichend. Alte Leitungen führen dauernd zu Komplikationen. Es ist in der Hauptsaison zu knapp bemessen. Die Reinigung findet nur oberflächlich statt und sollte nicht von den sehr jungen Frauen durchgeführt werden, die wissen nicht, wie man putzt.

Helaas geen afzuigkap, wat het koken met heel warm weer minder prettig maakte. Ook jammer dat de verlichting in keuken/woonkamer uitsluitend als een geheel aan en uit gaan ipv uitsluitend keuken of zitgedeelte. Ook jammer dat de horren en de slaapkamervensters kapot waren. Wij begrepen dat men al weken wachtten op reparatie door leverancier.

Ontvangst was zeer hartelijk, enorm ruime plekken en voor de kinderen (14 en 10 jaar) was er genoeg te doen. Relatief veel Engelse en Nederlandse bezoekers. Er wordt genoeg georganiseerd en de omgeving waarin de camping zich bevindt is schitterend!
Toiletgebouw is tov alle andere top ervaringen van camping de mindere factor. Niet slecht, zeker niet maar wel het minst.

Niet te groot, mooie sta-plekken, aan riviertje voor verkoeling. Personeel erg aardig.
Ik miste handzeep bij de wastafels en het sanitair mag van mij iets vaker ( goed) schoongemaakt worden. Ook de plek voor het legen / reinigen van chemisch toilet kan iets beter. Er zou ook nog een extra wasmachine en droger bij kunnen. ( voor het geval je het beddengoed wilt wassen. ( we hadden geen goede mogelijkheid om een lijntje te spannen om nat goed te laten drogen.

Camping ligt op een prachtige locatie aan de Dordogne, met uitzicht op het dorpje Limeuil. De camping is kleinschalig, maar heeft wel veel voorzieningen zoals restaurant, zwembad en sportieve voorzieningen zoals o.a. een tennisbaan. Wij hebben genoten van zowel de camping als de mooie omgeving. Er is veel te doen, zoals kanovaren, grotten bezoeken, diverse (middeleeuwse) dorpjes of prehistorische sites.
Het sanitair had wat schoner en beter verlicht kunnen zijn, met name de toiletten. Zwembad was af en toe wat vol op warme dagen, alle bedjes waren dan bezet.

Prachtige ligging aan de Dordogne, veel moois te zien in de nabije omgeving, fijn zwembad op de camping, lekker eten op de camping (goed betaalbaar ook) en gezellig zitten. Wat wij ook super vinden is dat je eigen BbQ mee mag brengen en zelfs op het strandje mag BbQ en een kampvuur mag maken!
Misschien iets teveel Nederlanders. Meer nationaliteiten vinden wij leuker!

Sfeer en uitstraling van kamperen, maar comfort van een stacaravan met heel volledige badkamer en keuken. Ideaal dat er tig plankjes zijn in de badkamer om al je toiletartikelen op te zetten. Keuken was ook zeer compleet qua inventaris, enige wat ontbrak (logischerwijs) was een kaasschaaf. Ook slaapkamer voorzien van genoeg opbergruimte. En zelfs in de slaapruimte in de voortent kan je wat kleding aan een rek kwijt. Ideaal dat er een picknicktafel en relax strandstoeltjes bij zitten.
Rode stoeltjes behorend bij de eettafel in de voortent zitten minder comfortabel. Verlichting in de voortent vonden wij te fel, wij hebben bijna alles uitgedraaid en voor vertrek natuurlijk weer aangedraaid maar hier zou voor het sfeervolle minder felle lampen in mogen. Matras in stacaravan is wat aan de hardere / dunnere kant? Maar dit zijn allemaal details, overall alleen maar tevreden !!

What we appreciated the most, is the fact that the campingfield was full with tents and tent trailers. No caravans and campers allowed on the field, which creates the perfect atmosphere! Certainly a reason to come back soon! Also everything was well maintained, a nice pool, green grass on the field, nice 'aire de jeux" and staff is very responsive. Loved it!
Nothing we didn't like. Just 2 tips to make the stay even better: It would be nice to have afternoon snacks in the restaurant, like charcuterie or bread with dips, or other small snacks. Other tip: everyday the pain complet was gone already before 8.30. If that many people are wanting pain complet, maybe have more of them to sell. But these are just minor comments. We really loved camping here!

We appreciated the camping field with grass, the well maintained playground and that there were no caravans and campers near us. Tents and tent trailer look so much better :) Also, when the storm came, the owners and staff were checking if everybody was okay. It really felt like they care. And when the power was off, they are very quick with fixing everything.
Nothing I did not like. Maybe only the 3 French families that were opposite us, they were VERY loud and their kids were terror until 23.00 at night. But that's not the campings fault ;)

Prachtige grote plaats met eigen waterkraan. Zeer schoon sanitair en zeer lekkere pizza's. De camping is goed verzorgd en heeft schitterende beplanting.
Het voortdurend over onze plek lopen, omdat onze honden dan aansloegen (wat wij vervelend vonden voor andere gasten) en hoe voorzichtig je ook rijdt dat je door de prachtige beplanting wel eens een kind zou kunnen aanrijden, wat toevallig op jouw plek loopt. Er was een pad naast, dus het was niet nodig.

Mooie grote pitches. Camping is overigens best groot maar door de indeling, de vele bomen én de mix van staanplaatsen met huuraccomodaties voelt dat helemaal niet zo. De ligging is prachtig in het groen en tussen de velden, aan de Dordogne en op loopafstand van Limeuil. Ook ideaal voor bezoekjes aan Sarlat, Perigieux etc etc. Nice!
Onze eerste week was het rustig op de camping en was er een fijne mix van allerlei nationaliteiten. Week 2 was het begin van de schoolvakanties in NL waardoor er ineens erg veel Nederlanders op de camping waren. Heeft niet zo mijn voorkeur maar dat is persoonlijk. Camping kon de max. bezetting overigens prima aan.

Prachtig ruim opgezet groen terrein, alles netjes onderhouden, leuke speelplekken voor kinderen, mooi zwembad met 3 baden waaronder een pierebadje, leuk strandje bij de rivier met prachtig uitzicht, restaurantje en bar met terras waar je lekker kunt eten en drinken (met zicht op de speeltuin :-)). Kortom, ideale vakantieplek met (jonge) kinderen!
Bedden en stoeltjes bij de eettafel niet comfortabel.

Onze accomodatie was echt super mooi. Als je de tent uit kwam keek je meteen uit over de rivier. Op de camping is alles te vinden wat je nodig hebt. Heel vriendelijke personeel. Ik denk dat de camping leuk is voor alle leeftijden.

De locatie aan de rivier van super! Veel plezier gehad van de stroomversnelling en 's avonds kampuurtje maken op het strandje. Ook zwembaden waren fijn en zagen er netjes uit.
Doordat er veel jongeren op de camping waren, 's avonds weleens overlast qua geluid. Ook was de sfeer hierdoor minder gemoedelijk.

We zaten in nr 84 aan de rand van de camping (zie foto) en hadden zelfs een klein beetje zicht op de rivier. De caravan is niet groot maar wel heel schoon en eigenlijk hoef je er alleen maar in te slapen want je leeft toch buiten. We hebben het heerlijk gehad en zouden een volgende keer deze nog wel een keer willen boeken.
Tafel was een beetje wiebelig en parasol erg klein. Overdag staat de zon op het grote raam waardoor het snel heet wordt binnen. We probeerden er een parasol voor te zetten maar die geeft nauwelijks schaduw.

Prachtige camping die mooi gelegen ligt aan de Dordogne. Een camping die perfect is voor gezinnen met kinderen: die vermaken zich prima in het zwembad of aan de rivier. 's Avonds heerlijk rustig: niet tot laat luide muziek (behalve die keer dat er in het naastgelegen dorp muziek kwam). Er is voldoende te doen in de omgeving, dus we komen zeker nog een keer terug.

Wij hebben een heerlijke vakantie gehad op deze camping! Alles wat we nodig hadden was aanwezig. Afkoeling ivm de hitte in het zwembad en de rivier. Schoon en ruim sanitair inclusief babybadje. Wasmachines, speeltuinen, bar, winkeltje. Vriendelijk personeel. Alles was top! De camping ligt ook in een prachtige omgeving waar veel te doen is.
De harde muziek (band, dj) vanuit Limeuil, maar daar kan de camping natuurlijk niets aan doen ??

Een mooie locatie voor een camping. Je kan genieten van de rivier en de natuur en je bent tegelijkertijd op loopafstand bent (10 min) van een prachtig en gezellig klein stadje met restaurants etc.

Mooie camping op prachtige plek aan de rivier. Leuk om je met de stroming mee te laten drijven. De plekken zijn zeer ruim met veel schaduw. Het uitzicht van de camping op het dorpje aan de overkant is een dikke 10 waard. Er is een gezellig cafeetje met de gelegenheid om een daghap te eten. Het zwembad is niet heel groot, maar heerlijk om in af te koelen, te zwemmen en er zijn bedjes genoeg om altijd te kunnen liggen. In de tijd dat we er waren was de bezetting rond de 75%.
Sanitair een beetje gedateerd, maar voldoende. Waar water is zijn muggen...

Gezellige camping, in de natuur, langs de rivier, met heel leuk zwembad voor de kinderen (en volwassenen), ook de speelpleintjes zijn top. Lekker eten in de bar en elke dag vers stokbrood in het winkeltje.

Onze kampeerplaats was heel ruim. Met voldoende zon en ook schaduw. Waterpunt bij de kampeerplaats is een pluspunt. Ook het uitzicht op Limeuil vonden wij heel fijn.

De camping ligt op een mooie plek. Er is een ruim aanbod van accommodaties. De familie die de camping runt en de medewerkers zijn erg vriendelijk. Alle voorzieningen zijn verder prima.
De accommodatie had geen airco, wat echt een gemis is bij 38 graden. Het mooie zwembad heeft te weinig schaduwplekken.

25 jaar geleden zijn we voor het eerst met ons gezin op deze perfect gelegen camping neergestreken. Het feit dat we nu voor de 10e keer hier weer terug keren (nu zonder de kinderen) zegt al genoeg. Het is een camping geschikt voor jong en oud, compleet gefaciliteerd, ruim opgezet op een perfecte locatie.
We kunnen eigenlijk niets bedenken wat we niet leuk vinden.

Het terrein is parkachtig aangelegd en heeft ruime staanplaatsen met voldoende privacy. Onze staanplaats was werkelijk geweldig. We hadden een weids uitzicht over een veld en zicht op de rivier.
