Gorgeous little campsite on the banks of the Dordogne, friendly helpful staff running the site. Peaceful relaxed atmosphere on site. Cute little bar area and liked visiting the goats.

Establishment

An excellent campsite in the most beautiful setting along the Dordogne river. The pitches are a great size with separations between them all, lots of which have views of the river and historic bridge. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and spoke excellent English, and were very dog friendly. There’s a supermarket and a handful of bars, shops and restaurants all directly at the entrance to the site. We would have stayed longer but unfortunately for us they were fully booked for a private event. We will definitely return.

Accommodation review

We had a grass pitch with electric for our motorhome. Water and facilities were nearby. There was ample room for our 8m Moho, awning and still plenty of space for sun loungers.

Lovely big pitches right on the dodoyne. Short walk to carrefour and restaurants. Always clean toilets etc and site always busy keeping site clean with leaves etc

Everything on here was amazing & they people that run the site are very helpful. I would recommend this campsite to everyone I was quite sad leaving.

Only improvements needs rubbish bins put around the site apart from that excellent place to stay.

The site is very well kept and the facilities are excellent. Lovely views of the river and a very peaceful location. The owners work very hard to make your stay a good one. Excellent restaurant nearby on the bridge.

The bar was only open at weekends but I assume in full season it is open.more nights.

Loved the location of the site, right by the river and also a short walk to the village where there's a great Tabac, supermarket and bakery. Lovely walking round the village near the chateau too. We were out of season so the bar on site wasn't open but a great restaurant by the water is recommended. The owner speaks English as my French isn't that good yet!

Pitches were good size choice of Sunny and shaded. Driving distance to all Dordogne Historic towns.Would recommend
