At Le Rocher de la Cave, you can chose to rent camping pitches or accomodations (mobil-home, wood cabane, furnished tent) for your holidays. The campsite has a heated pool with aquasplash, direct access to la Dordogne, bar-restaurant, sports fields (city stadium, skate park, table tennis, beach volleyball, fitness, petanque), a playground and trampolines. Activities are organized several times a week throughout the summer. On site, you can also rent canoes and kayaks. The village of Carsac-Aillac with all the essential shops is only 15 minutes away; a weekly market is organized there every Sunday morning throughout the summer season. We are close to tourist sites and beautiful villages to visit. The cycling road is only 800m away and will take you to Sarlat or Souillac.

Super leuke camping . Wij zaten in de safari tent. Deze is ruim opgezet en erg schoon opgeleverd. De basis voorzieningen zijn aanwezig en de kookplaat en bbq werkte perfect!!

Er was geen airco aanwezig in de tent. Nu hadden wij 2 weken lang 40 graden, waardoor het van 10.00 - 22.00 niet uit te houden was in de tent. Weinig schaduw van bomen waardoor het vroeg al veel te warm werd.

We zaten twee weken in een premium stacaravan, met airconditioning. Dat kwam heel goed uit, omdat het heel warm was. De nachten waren heerlijk met de airco en goede bedden. Mooie schone caravan. Heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel.

We hadden een paar keer stroom uitval. Misschien wat tips meegeven aan de gasten, welke apparaten er beter niet te gelijk aangezet kunnen worden.

Everything! Swimming in the Dordogne, eating pizza in the restaurant and enjoying fresh bread for breakfast. The employees are so friendly and speak English very well. The perfect camping!

We stayed in a motorhome, good size pitches. Excellent facilities, shower block very clean and modern. Pool beautiful and cafe/restaurant serves excellent food. Perfect location beside the river with great canoeing. Staff really nice and friendly. Sad to be leaving.

Toilet cassette disposal point is very out of the way and a long walk with a heavy cassette.

We had a comfort pitch that had its own little cabin with a toilet, shower, fridge and hob which we were very grateful for. The pool was delightful, and the beach absolute perfection. The staff were lovely. We and our kids had a great time.

I looked in the sanitary blocks incase we come again and they were not clean at all. The toilets were awful.

We had plenty of shade and our little comfort hutch was clean and so useful.

Our friends on the other comfort pitch had very little shade.

Heerlijk gegeten bij de bar. Planchettes, frites en moules. We waren met het hele gezin (22 personen) op de camping. Lekker poedelen in de Dordogne. Vriendelijk personeel. Was voor ons de zoveelste keer dat e hier zijn geweest. Altijd voor herhaling vatbaar!

Establishment

Great family run campground. Fantastic staff, both at the front desk and restaurant. Basics available at the front desk, such as Beer, wine, chips, and baguettes. What else do you need. The restaurant can cover the rest. If you need more, the small village of Carsac, just a few minutes away, has a wonderful bakery, butcher, and a Spar. Water access is perfect, plant yourself in a chair, go for a swim, bask in the sun, and walk up to the bar for a beverage. Great group of people who visit the campsite, very respectful, the kids love it. I would recommend it to anyone.
