Camping les Cinq Châteaux

Owners went above and beyond to help us and the site was well maintained. The pitches were huge and although the toilet/shower facilities were dated, they were kept clean & tidy. Renovations are being planned so looking forward to a return visit. The site is situated half way between La Roque/Castlenauld & Beynac-et-Cazenac.

This site lives up to its name, being surrounded by magnificent chateaux including the imposing Chateau de Beynac which dominates the area. The staff are friendly and welcoming, even as we get close to the end of this long hot summer. All the services and facilities are as you would hope.

Well kept site, very large pitches, the owners were very helpful and friendly, ideally situated for visiting the area and great dog walks

Dog poo bags and bins might encourage certain owners to pick up

Everything great. Camping, big spots with shade, on the river. Toilets and showers clean, nice owners Usually we go to a new place everyyear but this camping we like to go back to again

We had a brilliant stay at Camping Les Cinq Châteaux and would definitely recommend it to other families. The location is fantastic, surrounded by the beautiful Dordogne countryside and close to some amazing villages, castles and places to explore. The campsite has a really friendly, relaxed family atmosphere. The facilities were clean and well looked after, and there was plenty to keep the children entertained. One thing that really stood out to us was how much the campsite cares about the environment. They actively encourage recycling

They also have more improvements already in the pipeline, which is exciting to see. We honestly think this campsite is only going to get better and better over the coming years. Book while you can — we wouldn't be surprised to see this place fully booked year after year! We will definitely be back! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

we stayed for one week with our teenage daughter. Marina and her team were friendly and welcoming. The location is fabulous surrounded by trees and with views of castles on the hills. The campsite was busy and some tents were close together, but we stayed in a cabin which was clean and comfortable but quite small. We had a terrace which was nice to have breakfast. I like the eco awareness and recycling possibilities. Some mosquitos were a pest in the evening, but that was inevitable as we were in nature. Would recommend.

The bar/entertainment area needs some love and care. Maybe some plants, new tables/chairs to make it more appealing. The pool area looks amazing but the bar area isn't and not many people used this area in the evenings. Also, there could be more games etc for young people. What they had was quite basic.
