Camping Gaïa Ecolodge in Douville, formerly known as Camping Orphéo Négro, offers a unique vacation experience in the heart of nature. Located between Périgueux and Bergerac, this 11-hectare campsite in the Dordogne is the ideal setting for moments of calm, relaxation and leisure.

Accommodation and pitches
Camping Gaïa Ecolodge offers a range of accommodation to suit all tastes. Delimited, shaded pitches are available for tents and caravans, offering a breathtaking view over the fishing pond. For added comfort, chalets and mobile homes are also available for rent, some right on the edge of the pond.

Sanitary facilities are well-maintained, including a central toilet block, facilities adapted for the disabled, and a nursery for families with young children. The campsite also has coin-operated washing machines and tumble dryers, and an iron is available free of charge.

Leisure activities
Camping Gaïa Ecolodge is a paradise for fishing enthusiasts.

The 3-hectare pond is well stocked with carp, roach, pike and black bass. Fishing is no-kill, guaranteeing respect for the fish and their environment.

For moments of relaxation, a swimming pool (unheated) is open from June to September. Sports enthusiasts can enjoy a tennis court, mini-golf and outdoor bowling.

Liefhebbers van bordspellen kunnen boeken lenen uit de gratis bibliotheek of biljarten en tafelvoetballen (tegen betaling).

De camping heeft ook pingpongtafels, een jeu de boulesbaan en een fitnessruimte in de buitenlucht.

Overal op de camping is WiFi beschikbaar, zodat je verbinding kunt houden terwijl je geniet van de buitenlucht.

Eten en diensten
In de bar van camping Gaia Ecolodge kun je een cocktail drinken op het terras met uitzicht op het meer, of in een gezellig hoekje buiten de camping met uitzicht op het meer. 

Gaia Ecolodge heeft ook een snackbar en gebraden kip om mee te nemen op zondagmiddag. Gaia Ecolodge heeft ook een kleine kruidenierswinkel. 

Voor een hapje eten biedt Camping Gaïa Ecolodge elke ochtend vers brood en gebak, te bestellen voor 19.00 uur.

Huisdieren zijn welkom, mits aangelijnd, ingeënt en getatoeëerd. Honden van bepaalde categorieën zijn verboden om de veiligheid van iedereen te garanderen.

A nice, quiet and calm campsite. No noises whatsoever. The restrooms, showers etc. were clean and the pool just refreshing with a great size. BUT the best whatsoever were the owners - so lovely and respectful and the food. We had the duck and potatoes which are just unspeakable good. We would come back just to have a dinner - way too good for a campsite!

Très bon séjour dans ce charmant camping, Patrick et Sandrine son très accueillants. Pas de pêche miraculeuse pour nous mais la vue sur l’étang est agréable. La piscine est également très bienvenue en cas de canicule !

Nous avons adoré notre séjour au Gaia écolodge! Le site d’abord, juste magique avec ce bel étang et la forêt qui l’entoure. L’accueil ensuite, très chaleureux et sympathique, avec des propriétaires aux petits soins pour embellir votre séjour. Les chalets enfin très spacieux et confortables, sans oublier la localisation, parfaite pour sillonner le Périgord. Un grand merci ☺️

Magnifique camping. Décoration très soignée par les propriétaires notamment dans le bar/snack. Ambiance zen, on s'y sent tout de suite très à l'aise. Des hamacs sont disposés à différents endroits du camping pour sieste ou lecture à l'ombre des nombreux arbres. La cuisine du snack est délicieuse. Et la vue depuis la terrasse y est imprenable. La piscine fût très appréciable avec les fortes chaleurs.

nous avons séjournée la semaine du 9 au 16/08 2025 accueil convivial et chaleureux , on est tout de suite à l 'aise ! la piscine est grande et le nombre de transats suffisants la soirée du mercredi fort agréable le prêt de jeux de société est très appréciable on se sent comme à la maison et le service y est de qualité

il a fait très chaud entre 38 et 40 .... le mobil home n'avait pas la climatisation mais tout ouvert il était possible de dormir sans souffrir de la chaleur le soir venu .
