There is a wood at the foot of the hill on which the castle Biron and its village are located. Nestled in between those trees are our rentals. Each accommodation has between 50m² (540 sq.ft.) and 65m² (700 sq.ft.) living space as well as a spacious veranda between 15m² (160 sq.ft.) and 20m² (220 sq.ft.). Holidays to the rhythm of nature, peace and relaxation. There’s a swimming pool where you can cool down and laze around. We, your hosts, can point you to all the marvellous things to do and to see in our beautiful region ; a region we know as well as the backs of our hands. A bientot!

the location was perfect for the wedding in Biron and being close to family who live there

the local insects did too much biting

The establishment

The general atmosphere and friendly staff are great and so was the glamping tent.

The remote position forced us to use the car every day. Most of the touristic activities are 30 to 60 minutes away from Biron.

The location was amazing, in the middle of the forest, the tent we stayed in was brand new and very well made, we loved it. Also the Dordogne is a great spot to do all sorts of trips and scout the surroundings, absolutely loved it.

Castle wood has such a relaxed vibe, with the cabins tucked away in the trees! The pool is amazing! The braai/barbecue area is great too

Het was een plezierig verblijf in een heel goed uitgerust en schoon chalet. Dat was ruimer dan verwacht. De eigenaren waren ook erg aardig en behulpzaam. Ik beveel dit van harte aan!

Het weer was goed, zwembad netjes, brood was heerlijk.

Misschien vaker langere openingstijden zwembad. Als je nog even wilt zwemmen als de kinderen op bed liggen.

Un accueil et un suivi hors du commun proposés par Stephanie et Jeff. Nous avons profité de tous les conseils pour nos sorties et la région est pleine de beaux sites. La cabane perchée est superbe avec vue totale sur la nature et le château de Biron.L’équipement , l’aménagement et la propreté sont au rv avec une mention spéciale pour la literie excellente! De très bon petits déjeuners livrés sont possibles. Si vous cherchez un endroit où vous ressourcer sous les étoiles : n’hésitez plus et réservez à Castelwood! Un grand merci à Stephanie et Jeff!

La cabane perchee était tres agréable C était notre 2 eme sejour La prochaine fois nous tenterons le lodge SPA
