Terme d'Astor is a friendly family camp-site in the Dordogne. With enough space for all, young and old, lovers of peace and those who like it lively. Our camp-site is in the middle of a beautiful nature, where you will have a lovely time doing lots, or nothing at all. Just as you wish. You will find our camp-site (17 hectare) on a plateau in wooded hills. There are 100 large pitches with lots of privacy. But you can also choose to rent one of our chalets for your next holidays.

Establishment

Friendly and obliging staff. Restaurant serves good food and snacks during the day . Bar open all day all at a reasonable price. Well kept pool to enjoy. Close to scenic areas within 1 hour drive if you like that. Good value reasonably priced accommodation or camping Excellent place to stay. Entertainment every evening.

Really nice site, spaced out pitches. Bar and pool area are very nice. Tab system at the bar works well.

More hook up points, some a long distance from pitches, but staff sorted the problem with extension leads. One they can't solve, bugs, put your lights on at night and you're saturated with leaf hoppers, they don't bite, just everywhere.

Establishment

Very welcoming staff and a beautifully maintained site. Pitches are large and pleasant and many offer shade. At the time of my stay 50 of the JNVN (young naturists of the Netherlands 18-28) were there for their summer camp. They were camping towards the end of the site and were quiet, polite and pleasant. They organised various activities and even a meal for the entire site to which I received a personal invitation but had to decline as I was due to leave that day.

More water points would be an advantage.

Spacious pitch with adjacent electricity point. Close to facilities - reception, pool, bar/restaurant etc. The site is perfect for families, couples and individuals with a good, but not overbearing animation schedule and an excellent cafe bar. When the restaurant is closed (Mondays) a local food trailer visits and food from it can be eaten at the bar (inside or out).

Een heel mooi, groenrijk terrein. Goed toegankelijk voor mensen met een handicap. Prima zwembad. Vriendelijk en behulpzame medewerkers. Voor kampeerders ruime plekken. Veel schaduw mogelijkheden.

Had soms graag iets eerder brood kunnen halen, bijvoorbeeld half negen.

Had het chalet voor gehandicapten. Redelijk ruime badkamer. Wel donker binnen maar er was goede verlichting. Fijn, die vaatwasser.

Site exceptionnel, équipe ultra sympathique et serviable, très belle piscine.

Indiquer que la "balade nue" est quasi un trail, afin de préparer nos mollets, car dure la remontée ;)

Mooie, goede en rustige verzorging door het team. Het terrein ligt er goed verzorgd bij. Wij hebben er een leuke vakantie gehad.

Een goed en volledig ingericht chalet. Matras aan vervanging toe.

Iets te weinig zon voor ons chalet; er moet nog gesnoeid worden.

De vriendelijke ontvangst en goede uitleg

De wifi ontvangst was erg slecht/was er niet. Misschien biedt Starlink een oplossing.

Prima plaats, beetje lastig om de caravan te plaatsen, maar uiteindelijk gelukt.
