Camping Domaine de la Grande Veyière spans 9 hectares of forest in Molières, between Sarlat and Bergerac. This human-scale campsite offers 60 pitches and accommodations spread across the estate, ensuring peace and privacy even in high season. A family-friendly and welcoming atmosphere is part of the site's DNA.

You can choose from several accommodation options : premium air-conditioned chalets, glamping lodge tents with private facilities, spacious mobile homes, or shaded pitches for tents, motorhomes, caravans and vans. Set on forest terraces, all benefit from natural shade.

The 150 m² heated lagoon pool, reserved for residents, delights holidaymakers during summer. Its design allows young children to paddle safely in the shallow area while swimmers enjoy the deep end.

The snack restaurant offers takeaway meals if you don't feel like cooking. The bar has two shaded terraces, perfect for an aperitif. A small shop stocks essentials, with fresh bread available every morning. You can also use the large shared barbecue with its dedicated terrace. The sanitary block includes individual cabins and two equipped family bathrooms.

Children love the shaded playground, the kids' club (in summer), and especially the mini-farm with its donkeys and sheep. Animal discovery workshops take place there in the morning. Volleyball court, billiards, table football and table tennis remain freely accessible for all ages. Themed evenings bring summer holidays to life in a warm atmosphere: tastings of Périgord specialities and local cheeses are hugely popular with holidaymakers.

From the campsite, you're 35 minutes from Sarlat and Bergerac. Hikers enjoy the trails below the estate, including a section of the Camino de Santiago. In 20 minutes, you reach the Dordogne for canoeing trips. Cadouin cloister (UNESCO listed) is 5 minutes away, Monpazier bastide 25 minutes, Beynac castle 30 minutes. Lascaux caves, Les Eyzies and the Aquarium du Périgord Noir complete the discoveries possible from the campsite.

The campsite is in a lovely quiet setting. Spacious pitches We had booked well in advance of our stay so the site manager should have been prepared for our arrival. This should be a lovely campsite but there is clearly a problem.

All but one of the toilets and showers were fit to use. The others were foul with faeces and months of dirt. The manager locked all but the cleanish toilet and fairly clean shower. The chemical toilet facility was foul with faeces and had no running water working. Many of the sinks had not been cleaned for months.

The swimming pool was under repair. The cafe was not open as the chef was ‘at a wedding’. Bread was advertised as available to order but was not available

bonjour , je suis vraiment surpris de vos constatations,en effet, la piscine est en réparation , je vous en ai tenu informé et avec le temps pluvieux qu il faisait vous n y seriez pas allé.les sanitaires ouverts etaient propres et nettoyés tous les jours , vous etiez 2 campeurs sur le camping , c est pour cela que j avais ouvert qu un seul toilette et 2 douches,pour le pain a aucun moment vous etes venus me demander du pain , vous etes de mauvaise foi , vous avez su venir me demander a 2 reprises des jetons de machine a laver , .....et vous etes malhonetes , car lorsque vous passiez devant l accueil, vous aviez un grand sourire....des clients comme vous ne m interesse pas , *

Stayed There for a week and was a great camp site. Friendly staff and good location to get around the dordonge Had a swimming pool on site which was great for the kids, free use of BBQ as well.

We ordered pastries most mornings and were over cooked or slightly burned.

We stayed at La Grande Veyiere when our children were younger. It was a lovely nostalgia trip. The campsite is as peaceful as I remember. Facilities were perfect. We had a wonderful holiday.

We stayed for a week, and were so excited that we stayed for four days more. Great campsite, with a perfect swimming pool for all ages, friendly owners, a variety of other activities for the kids.

The kids playing area is ready for an upgrade.

We liked the lodge. It was clean, It had all the necessary tools. the mattrasses were rather good (but a bit too short for my length (182cm).

We hired the Canada Classic lodge. I would prefer to have the kitchen outside, on the porch. It would also be great if the sleeping compartments had mosquito nets at the entrance.

Le calme, la configuration du camping, la sympathie des propriétaires, la qualié et la propreté du logement, les arbres qui donnent de l'ombre, cette quiétude permanente

Peut-être un peu plus d'animations comme tournoi de pétanque ou de ping pong. Mais à voir s'il y aurait suffisament de participants

La propreté, le coté pratique, un peu sauvage aussi. Son emplacement sans vis à vis est aussi un atout. On est calme. Tranquille.
